Center Introduction
As an important branch of optics and optical engineering, optical imaging technology plays a pivotal role in not only its own field, but in promoting the development of other fields. It’s an indispensable means for human beings to explore the macro and micro world. In recent years, the development of new optical imaging methods and technologies has broken through the limitations of traditional optics, as well as broadened the range of imaging by obtaining multi-dimensional information of optical field. Typical advanced technologies, including wide-view and high-resolution imaging, nonlinear optical imaging, correlated imaging ,new computational imaging, etc., have opened up new ways in solving major scientific problems in various areas like space science, life science et al.
Aiming at propel the development and build the Mopre’s Law of optical imaging, Interdisciplinary Research Center on Advanced Optics and Perception will dedicate to overcome the inherent problems in traditional optoelectronic imaging and develop promising and advanced imaging techniques. Interested research include but not limit to imaging through scattering media, SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) imaging, computational imaging, et al. We welcome everyone who is willing to engage in optics career and make the world better with your own strength. We’ll be here waiting for you!
